Swamp Bats 7, Pilgrims 0

Catcher Rob Coman blasted a solo home run in the top of the second inning in his Swamp Bats debut.  In the 3rd inning, Zach Lauricella got an RBI on a bases-loaded walk to push 3rd baseman Patrick McGrath across  home plate. Dominic Severino put a charge into a sac fly in left-center to score Taylor Perez for a 3-0 lead and the Swamp Bats cruised to a 7-0 win over the Plymouth Pilgrims at Forges Field.

I wasn't at the game but I imagine Coman's HR looked like this.
·         Shortstop Jarred Mederos had a solo Home Run and a Double.

·         Right Fielder Zach Lauricella had two RBI and scored on a Wild Pitch.

·         3rd Baseman Patrick McGrath had a Double, a Walk and a Single.

·         Ryan Summers, starting at 1st base, drew two Walks, stole two bases and had a 9th inning Double for two RBI.

·         Starting pitcher Alex Robinson gets a win, giving no runs in four innings. He struck out 6 batters and gave up 4 hits while walking 5.

·         Michael Dunnigan did a stellar job in relief. He gave up one hit, recorded 5 ground ball outs, struck out 1 in two innings.

·         Mat Crohan retired the three batters he faced.

·         Sam Triece pitched a scoreless 8th and Ben Criscuolo closed.
