Dominic Severino gave up just two hits in seven innings and the Swamp Bats scored two in the fourth Saturday night as  Severino and Matt Clancy combined on a 5-0 shutout of the Laconia Muskrats.

 The scoring began when Connor Fitzsimons scored on a Brady Sheetz broken bat single after reaching base on an error. Taylor Perez doubled to left and scored on a Bret Dennis single. After two games, the Swamp Bats record is 1-1.

The bus leaves Alumni Field at 1:15 p.m. Monday  for the trip to Rhode Island  for the game with Ocean State.
