Sanford Mainers 2, Swamp Bats 1

Marty Testo gave me a baseball truism after Tuesday's game: at this time of year, pitching is ahead of hitting. Boy, that sums up tonight's game.
The Swamp Bats scratched out a run in the bottom of the sixth inning, Sanford scored two in the top of the seventh.
The Swamp Bats infield looks strong! Most of the Sanford batted balls went to the left and were scooped up by 3rd baseman Patrick McGrath and shortstop Taylor Perez. Bret Dennis made impressive plays at 2nd base.

Michael Dunnigan gave up two runs in 6 2/3 innings.
